Joaquim C Coelho

Joaquim C. Coelho, age 79, of Linden passed away on Wednesday September 11th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Leisure Park in Lakewood. He was born in Porto De Mos, Portugal to Albino and Ilda Coelho. Joaquim was a maintenance mechanic for Schering- Plough Pharmaceuticals for many years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth, NJ, where he sang in the choir.

Joaquim is survived by his son Jorge Coelho of Brick, his daughter Anabela Pescatore of Freehold, his three sisters Maria Alves, Emilia Cordeiro, and Delfina Camacho, and his four grandchildren, Dylan, Mattingly, Andrew, and Aiden.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 pm to 9 pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home - 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at the Church of the Visitation – 730 Lynnwood Ave, Brick Township, NJ 08723. Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Mausoleum - Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751.
