Jocelyn Zahavi Voiron

Jocelyn Zahavi Voiron passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Jocelyn was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and a great friend to many people. She offered comfort, solace, and joy to everyone and is remembered for her gifts of insight and thoughtful kindness. She endured a serious illness with strength and grace. Jocelyn was born in New Orleans on June 22, 1970 and was a life long resident of Gretna. She is survived by her husband Guy Voiron, daughter Chloe and her husband Dyllon Basiloy and granddaughter Ella Grace, her sons Seth and Remy Voiron, and parents Nissan and Becky Zahavi. She is beloved by her sister Jenifer Zahavi, nephew Donovan, her brother Joe Zahavi and his wife TJ. Jocelyn was a talented artist, creating unique pieces of jewelry for special collections. Friends and family gathered for a week following her funeral service, sharing many stories and wonderful memories. Jocelyn was an extraordinary mother, wife, and friend who gave to everyone from her brave and generous heart. Very special gratitude to family and friends who remained many hours by her bedside. Jocelyn was interred June 8, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery after a graveside funeral.
