Jodi was born on August 4, 1964 and passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017. Jodi was a resident of Illinois. Jodi graduated from Pekin Community High School and Flamingo Beauty College. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Abts Mortuary in Pekin from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to TAPS in her name.
I met Jodi, Jodi Swords then, at church camp in Michigan back in 1979 when I lived in Bluffton Indiana. We exchanged letters for a year until we met up again at church camp the following year. This is not the way I was hoping to find her. It's a bit shocking to me, so young. I trust she is with God our Father now and forever.

I did Jodi's Nails for years. We had great conversations and lots of laughter. I am saddened to hear of her passing. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

She was a great person and was tried to make the lives of so many animals better by standing up to neglect and being treated inhumanly. Sorry to have lost such a real friend.
