"Jodie Hodges HODGES -- Jodie Carlton Hodges, 83, husband of the late Julia Ann Griffin Hodges, of 6320 Hwy. 25 N., died Monday, May 18, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late William Earl Hodges and Myrtle Carter Hodges. He was a retired Electrical Engineer with Monsanto and had served in the US Navy and had attended Ware Shoals United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Harley William Hodges of Hodges and four grandchildren. He was the youngest of seven children. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home, with Rev. Byron Wood officiating. The family is at the home.
