I knew Jody from the over 50 Sunday night old guys league. It is a shame to lose someone from the Muskegon hockey community at a young age. He always seemed to be happy when we was going to the rink or hanging out with his team in the locker room. He was a quiet guy for the most part but would hit everyone with a zinger that would make people laugh. You left way too early.

I got the chance to skate with Jody for several sessions in our league. He was liked by all and my heartfelt condolences goes out to the family. Jody's hard snap shot will be missed along with his friendship. Rest in Peace my friend.
