Jody C. Parent

Chicopee- It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jody (Jankowski) Parent announces her passing, at the age of 56.  Jody passed away at home on September 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  The youngest of 4 children, Jody was the daughter of Joseph and Christina Jankowski.  As a teen, Jody began taking care of children with terminal illnesses.  Shortly thereafter, she received a Licensed Practical Nurse certificate and also worked with elderly patients during her career.  She enjoyed creating recipes and preparing food for her family.  Jody was proud of her Polish heritage, often making Pierogi and Golumbki for everyone.  Jody was predeceased by her father, Joseph Jankowski, and her first husband, Todd Quesnel.  She leaves behind her husband, Michael Parent, her children Noah Quesnel and Emily Parent, her mother Christina Jankowski, siblings Anita Fleckenstein (Brian), Barbara Moreau (Jim), and Stephen Jankowski, her sister-in-law Dawn Quesnel, nephews Kenneth Fleckenstein and William Jankowski, and her niece Kaylee Zimmerman.  Jody’s family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to everyone from Holyoke Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to her.  Funeral services for Jody will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee, MA.  Visiting hours will be from 9:00 - 10:15am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 Saint Anthony St., Chicopee at 11:00am, with committal immediately following in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Holyoke VNA & Hospice Life Care, 20 Hospital Dr. 3rd FL, Holyoke, MA 01040.  www.CorridanFuneral.com
