The Weiss Family-

I just heard the news today or I would have written much sooner. Words cannot begin to tell you how saddened I am for your loss. As students, we discussed animal farm with Mrs. Weiss, and how it related to true life, she taught us poetry, and ATTEMPTED to explain Shakespeare to blank stares, but looking back on everything now, I think the most important thing I learned from Mrs. Weiss is to be passionate about things in your life that are special to you. My life...

I just heard of your loss of Jody and how quick everything happened. She was without a doubt my daughter Jamie's best and most caring teacher at MHS. She was a great person to have known for me and a wonderful example as to how everyone should lead their lives as a wonderful wife, mother and friend. My sincere condolences, Paulette Korey

I had Mrs. Weiss for English class, and she always encouraged me to keep writing. The following year I was her student aide and I'll never forget the hall pass she wrote for me. She laminated it so it would be good all year and wrote "Not to be abused!" on the back. She even had this high-pitched, nazally voice to go along with the warning, which was hysterical.
I absolutely adored her and will miss her. I'm dedicating my first novel to her, out of love and gratitude for all of her...

I had Mrs.Weiss for English my freshman year. She was a special teacher who made learning fun. I would run into her on occasion and she always remembered me. She will be greatly missed. Your family is in our prayers.

I am very very sorry about the passing of Jody. I had her as a freshman for English, and then again in my Junior year for English. I will always remember her with warm memories. She truly made an impact on my life. I will truly miss her. May God Bless you and your family and may she rest in peace. My deepest sympathies.

Our deepest sympathies to Barry, Lenny, and Lindsay. Jody was a joy to have known - she willed be greatly missed, by many...

Barry, Lenny and Lindsay-
Jody was such an amazing person and I am so proud to say that she was my cousin. Her smile, laugh and positive attitude are things that I will forever carry with me and hopefully pass on to my kids, like she has passed on to you. Everyday when I run, swim and bike to train for the Tri for the Cure, she will be the one pushing me! You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I am always here for you! All my love, Kim Mattei

Barry and family, My heart goes out to all of you. And my prayers are with you.
Debbie Adi and Stav Shtekel

Barry,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. May God grant her eternal life.
