Not sure what to say?

This may be too late but I just googled Joe and found his obituary. I knew Joe from soon after him buying Knox Street Pub and was friend to Joe and the crew for years, until the closing of the pub. Joe was a great guy. My condolences to Jimmy Don, Ricky and Patti.

Joe and I grew up together and gave our parents gray hairs. We did a lot of water skiing at Colorado lake during the summers. Good times! We loved Joe and will miss him.

I am sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I first met him and would see him at the Knox street pub and then ran accidently ran into him again years later. I am happy to read that he had a happy life and great friends.

Joe was an amazing person and a wonderful friend to me. We met in the 1980s when I worked at the Dallas Museum of art and he owned Knox Street Pub, Joe and I became good friends and went through aerobic teacher training together at Body Strategy in the Dallas Quadrangle, As a single mom, Joe became staunch supporters of my daughter and me - delivering food and laughter. He was a bright light of love and laughter and he will be greatly missed, Joe met the most wonderful companion with Jimmy...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
