JOE DEAN ADKINS

Joe was my step-father, but his presence in my life was of a duration longer than my biological father. The two men were friends in WWII and I was blessed to have each of them in my life. Joe's wisdom guided me through difficult times. His love for me, a young adult step-child when I entered his life, was unconditional. I loved him as though he were my own father. I will cherish him in my heart for the rest of my days.
