Not sure what to say?

I am hearing of Uncle Joe's loss late, but it is still a big loss for me. I remember teaching in his courses and still use many of those lessons with students today. Uncle Joe, you will be missed but will live in my heart.

Debbie and Trent.
Connie and I are so sorry to learn of Joe's passing. In a different world, we would come together and share stories of Joe and some of the things we did together in the Chemistry Department and in a canoe on the river. Just know that we will remember your dad with great fondness.

Debby & Trent
I just learned of your Dads passing today (4/22/20) while searching for you. I've been reflecting ~ my years in Clemson (our school friendship even after I moved to GA.).I chose Berry College because of you Debby & your Mom & Dad. They were inspiring. I have happy memories at your family home & 2 beautiful graduation frames from our college life walking the Berry experience~With gratitude for its path.
Thinking of you at this time with friendship & peace.
I hope soon we...

Enjoyed getting to know his children and going down memory lane with a great fellow. Blessings to Trent and Debbie

So Sorry to read of Dr. Allen's passing. I worked with him in the Chemistry Dept back in the 80's. He was always friendly and helpful in any way that he could. A friend to all. God bless you during this time. Kaye Fowler

Joe was such a kind, supportive, and collegial colleague and friend. He will be sorely missed.

Chemistry Department Christmas Party

I had the privilege of meeting Joe after his retirement. Often he would visit the chemistry department and stop by my office for a little chat. It was always an uplifting conversation. His smile and genuine greetings brightened the halls. A light has now left this place but I know his joy is endless now that he has joined his beloved Doris. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family.
