Not sure what to say?

Joe was a childhood friend, neighbor and classmate. We spent many hours together as little trouble instigators in the neighborhood, good times. We lived a block apart, went to the same church and were in the same grade in school. So very sorry to hear about Joe's passing. We loved spending time with him at the ball fields, when the boys were playing ball. He was truly a one of the kind. His obituary was truly spot on he will be truly missed. Love to Deb, Ben, and Shelly from the Cross family.

So, so sorry to hear about Joe. He was such a one-of-a-kind person. I loved that he didn´t care about what went on in the neighborhood. He just wanted people to do their own thing. (And not be bothered) I so admired that. Debra, I will be thinking of you and your family. I know Ben and his children will miss him. Blessings to you and all who loved Joe.

Larger than Life! A legend! Joe will be sorely missed.

Joe was a very interesting and helpful neighbor. He and my husband Ken who was also a philosopher would stand out on the driveway or on the sidewalk and talk for long period of time. I would wonder what are those guys talking about and can we get back to the Yard Work? It was always nice to see them doing that and I'm not sure I wanted to know what they were talking about! Fond memories. Condolences to Debra and the family. Kay Metzger

I will miss you Joe. Debra, I´m so sorry for your loss.
