Read MoreYears ago I ordered Joe Anna's 'Lilacs' DVD. With it she included a hand written note saying "I hope you enjoy 'Lilacs'. Thank you so much for ordering. Warmest regards, JoeAnna." I've keep that note in the DVD case: it is one of my most treasured keepsakes. I think of her with affection each time I watch one of her DVDs. Regret not having visited her studio in NM.

Just heartbroken to hear of Joe Anna's death. I'm just a hobby artist but admired her so very much. She surely was one of the most talented artist of out time, and radiated such warmth in her teachings. Never personally met her but have tears in her passing.

I am so sorry to read of Joe Anna's passing. She was a beautiful, kind, and gifted woman. It was my privilege to have met her when she was juried into EnPleinAirTEXAS in San Angelo. I am so glad to have one of her paintings!
