Mr. Aranda,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and also for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Virginia, your Dad was a dear man. I know that you and Martha served him well in the last years of his life, and he was a lucky man to have you two as his daughters. I wish I would have been well enough to say goodbye to him before he passed on.

I will miss him. I continue to pray that God would comfort you, Eric, Martha, Sam, and Adam as you deal with this loss.

Dear Virginia--Your dad was always so proud of you and your sister.( And of his dear grandson, Adam.) It was such a pleasure to have known him. I was glad to have spent some days with him before his life slipped away. Be blessed in that he now rests with your mom, and both will watch over you--as they always did. Love. Many years have gone by since I last saw you, but I have fond memories of you, your Mom & Dad. I was sorry to read in today's paper that your Dad had passed away and is now with your Mom. I don't know if you remember me, but I lived on Grant (the corner house) and I spent many happy times with your family. I remember your Dad sitting in his favorite chair after work, reading the paper (always seemed so strict) but with a smile on his face. My condolences to you girls.

Rick and Virginia, It was a real honor to meet your Dad three years ago, when I came to visit you guys.
