Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I am the daughter of his former sister-in-law, Patsy Watson Baulch. I had recently begun putting together my family's history, and had hoped to talk with Joe about his brother, David. I used to visit with Dave's parents as a very small child. They were good to me, even though I was not their grandchild. I am sorry for your loss.

No greater gift can a man bestow another than an education. Mr. Baulch, you influenced many directly, and many more indirectly. You were an incredible man, as I have seen through your son Joel.

I carry a special golf club in my bag that Joe made for me many years ago. I remember his kindness to me in so many ways and am grateful for having spent time with him. Some fun times were spent whacking golf balls behind the Baulch's house in Kerrville. I will always carry a special fondness for him. Blessings to you, Sarah, and your children and grandchildren.

Prayers to you Aunt Sarah and cousins.

Although I knew Joe Baulch only slightly from a couple of visits we had, I quickly came to appreciate Schreiner's history from his volume, and I had the opportunity to glimpse how important his contributions to the Institute, College and University were. My sympathy and best wishes go to all the Baulch family.
