Read MoreMr. Blanton was my seat partner at the Boston Democratic Convention. I learned more from him during that convention than I had known anytime previously. Both he and his wife were wonderful mentors to me and others in understanding politics. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy go out to his family especially his beautiful bride Mrs. Ellie. He will be missed by all who knew him.
