Not sure what to say?

I really enjoyed interviewing Joe on being a 100 year old barber. He was a kind soul. He will be missed!

Im from Pensacola, moved away, and every time we returned to visit, wed go visit Joe for my husbands hair cut. We loved him and what a loss to Pensacola.

When I was a little girl, I would come into the San Carlos Barber Shop to see my dad. Mr. Joe always had a smile for me and a penny so I could go into the gift shop and by a piece of candy. I so loved seeing him at my mothers 90th birthday party. He was such a good friend and my dad loved when he came out to our house to oyster or fish after the hotel closed. My Prayers to his family!

Loretta & Papa Joe

Joe Brown will be remembered always, he was a good man and father, granddaddy.

So very sorry for your loss of a wonderful man! He was one of the kindest men I ever knew. Prayers for you all during this very difficult time. You have a magnificent guardian angel now!

Joe Brown was a wonderful gentleman and he will be missed. I enjoyed seeing him every few weeks for the last 20+ years for haircuts. He was a wealth of American history, having worked at a CCC camp during the Great Depression, serving our country in the Army as noted. I will miss him greatly as he inspired me with his work ethic, humor, friendship, kindness and humility.

Mr. Brown was a kind and fine man. He was always so uplifting and nice to me. Always made sure my pocket knife was sharp when I came in for my haircut. He was a friend to so many. Always greeted you with a smile and left you with one. Heaven has a new Chief Barber and angel.

One sweet man now in the arms of Jesus. Blessings to the family, we are keeping you all in our prayers.

he was a great man and cut 2 if not 3 generations of my family's hair over the years. if anyone was going to live forever, i thought it would be him. RIP Joe
