We had the pleasure of getting to know "Mr. & Mrs Joe" when they were living at Prairie Hills with my parents Gilbert & Darlene Proudfit. My parents knew the Cardamon's for years since they lived at home close to us on the South side. At Prairie Hills they always sat for meals with my parents and it was a great pleasure to get to know them! Mr. Joe was quiet and respectful, although he would occasionally tell a story about his time in the service. I know he went to St. Anthony's every Sunday...
