Not sure what to say?

Joe is always on our mind during the year and when we enjoy the many gifts he gave our daughter Camryn as part of the Gem & Mineral Society. I can never look at a fluorescent item w/out thinking of him and how he was always excited sharing the information and details of these "rocks".

Met Joe and Carole in 1967 when I was transferred to Louisiana - Joe was Witco´s engineer overseeing the construction of a grassroots chemical plant in Taft - Over the years he ended up being my boss - And a good boss he was - Carole and my wife became friends - though over the years, our lives went in different directions, I considered Joe a friend and a great boss - I´m sorry to learn of his passing, but I have lots of nice memories of being with him and working for him...

We can't say enough about Joe and how much he meant to us. He and Camryn spent a lot of time together during the Rock Shows explaining fluorescent rocks and how it all worked. He always had a great story to tell about different types of rocks. His collection was never ending and it seemed and we always found something new when we visited him at home. He was very generous too and Camryn was able to build her collection because of his gifts. We will miss him a lot.

I worked for Joe for many years at the same company. He was a great boss and an even better person. I was sorry to hear of his death.

Joe was one of the gentlest and soft-spoken gentlemen that I have ever known. His love of the outdoors was immense and I shall never forget hunting and fishing with him across South Louisiana. Rest easy, my friend.

Glad I got to know and hunt with Mr. Joe.

Prayers for Joe's family. I loved playing golf with Joe. He always had nice things to say about everyone. A great man.

Our deepest condolences to Joe´s family. He was such a good friend. A fellow golfer and great neighbor. He and Carol will be missed.

A good golf and fishing buddy. Wonderful neighbors who are missed.
