Words cannot express the desire I had to be with you all during this time. My Uncle Joe was not just my uncle, but a standard by which I determine a man. He loved God, his family, his community and his church. I am so full of memories of my uncle coming to the need of our family. He was our repair man, our disciplinarian and our comforter. Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I will take this time to say that Mr. Dickerson will greatly be missed and that I will miss his smile and his conversations when he come to the First Tennessee Bank on Hollywood and James. My prayers goes out to Mrs. Dickerson and the Dickerson Family.

To the Dickerson family,
I was somewhat saddened to hear about Mr. Dickerson. I yet rejoice in knowing that Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. I will always remember him as a kind and smiling gentleman. For the twelve years that I was employed at the bank on Hollywood, he was a great customer. I Pray now for strength for Miss Hattie and the rest of your family. To God be the glory for the things He has done. Be Blessed is my prayer.
