Not sure what to say?

Hi,

I was a kid when you guys attended First Assembly in Mesquite. One of my fondest memories of Joe was on Sundays when the football games started early. I would visit with him while he listened to the games on his car radio. I think it was the only time my parents didn't mind me missing church. I really appreciate Joe's friendship. He did not have to be so nice to a dorky kid but he was. I also enjoyed listening to his football stories. Your family is in my thoughts and...

So sorry to learn of Joe's early death..God bless you-all with grace and strength.

We are so sorry to hear of your sudden loss. Whether sudden or preparedly, we are never really ready for such an event, and I am so sorry we were making arrangements our selves and could not be there with you. We love you guys and our prayers and hearts have gone out to you ever since we received the news on Saturday evening when Pastor Scott came to see us at the hospital. God Bless and comfort you and your family.

Dear Jana, Bobbie and all of the Dixon family: I was saddend to hear about Joe passing away so unexpectedly. Speaking from my own personal experience with loss, it's a process that takes time. Take your time, as long as you need and in your own way. My comfort is that I know you have a very loving and supportive family as well as friends. I remember Joe from my childhood days the few times I went to your house in our old neighborhood (BT) and remember how nice he was to me and what a great...

Bobby Kay and Family; What a shock to hear of Joe's passing from this life at such an early age, but what a blessing to know where Joe has gone; to see our Savior face to face. You and yours are in our prayers for tender mercies and our thoughts of all the wonderful times we had together.

My thoughts and prayers are with Joe's family during this time of his passing. I just found out about it today, 08/29, in an email from my brother-in-law. I saw Joe and spoke briefly with him at our recent 45th Samuell High School Reunion only a couple of months ago.
Joe was an amazing guy, friend, student, and football player. I am sure he was also a very amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Although I never met his current extended family, my prayers are for each of you as you...

Joe Dixon was a true Texas Longhorn. He had a heart as big as that first National Football Championship Team that he was a part of 1963. He was a Family man and proud of it. He will be missed. Regards to the Family.

Hook 'Em Joe !!!!

To Mike and the Dixon Family:
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. I know you always looked up to your big brother, as I do to my big brother and sister. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bobbie and family, we were shocked to learn about Joe. Our days in Buckner Terrace together will always be a special part of our memories. Joe was a very special person and his leadership for kids and character-building during those days were so important and helped make them the fine adults they've turned out to be.

I wish I were in Dallas during this time, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
