Joe was always so kind to me when I came to visit the family in Chicago, Huntsville, wherever. He always went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and welcome when I visited with Mary from college, onward. He always kept up with my interests, and I'm glad I got to see him in Tennessee a few years back. I will always remember his hospitality- my condolences to the whole family, especially Claire...sending lots of love.
