Not sure what to say?

Uncle Joe was a good man who provided a comfortable home for his wife and kids to grow up in. He and Aunt Gloria never seemed to mind when his rowdy and noisy nieces and nephews came over to play with their kids. I too remember being at Grandma/Grandpa Elliott's for a visit and Uncle Joe would come by for coffee and have a "story" to tell. He had a wonderful, dry sense of humor. Uncle Joe you will be missed by your family.

DEAR JIM,JERRY, CHARLIE, MARY KAY AND SUSAN
AND YOUR MOM SORRY ABOUT JOE. I HAD A LOT GREAT HUNTING TRIPS WITH JOE GREAT HUNTER. I LEARNED A LOT ABOUT TURKEY HUNTING MAINLY THEY ARE SURE HARD TO SHOOT.YOUR IN OUR PRAYERS GARY & LINDA SHIPLEY

I remember going to Uncle Joe's house as a kid and thinking the basement was really neat because we didn't have one. I think we must have played on the waterbed every time we were there. Uncle Joe was always patient and kind with us no matter how rowdy we probably were. I also remember them coming over to our house for visits and drinking endless cups of coffee while sitting at the kitchen table. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, dad, papa, and uncle and will be missed.

Rest in Peace Uncle Joe

I must have been a pest when he came to visit us because he always encouraged me to go fishing and use a bologna sandwich for bate! He was a good man and will be missed.

Rest in peace dear Brother. Will enjoy loads of memories of you. I admire how much Gloria and the kids loved you. I will miss you coming for coffee. I know you enjoyed your fishing, hunting and your horseback riding & trips up north. I looked up to you very much while I was growing up. I love your family & you have the prettiest grankids!! :)

Papa Elliott was the epitome of a family patriarch. The memories he made with each and every one of us will last us our lifetime. Love, the eldest granddaughter.
