Joe Bob Fox, 70, a native of Haywood County, North Carolina, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, who worked in the pulp and chemical division of Champion Paper Mill, died at Memorial Mission Hospital on Thursday, June 28, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 1, 2001, 7-9 p.m., at Garrett Funeral Home, 460 North Main Street, Waynesville, North Carolina. Services are scheduled for Monday, July 2, 2001, 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garrett Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Garrett Funeral Home, Waynesville, North Carolina.
