Mr. Joe D. Goodson

Mr. Goodson was born on July 22, 1930 and passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016. Mr. Goodson was a resident of Dalton, Georgia at the time of his passing. Joe graduated from the University of Chattanooga now UTC with a degree in accounting. Joe served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was married to Margaret. A private service will be held by the family with the Reverend Walter M. Jones officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love funeral home Friday evening April 1 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church P.O. Box 489 Dalton GA 30722-0489 or the Dalton Education Foundation P.O. Box 1408 Dalton GA 30722-1408.
