Dear Nancy: I was saddened to hear of Joe's passing. He took me under his wing and taught me about the construction business when I first moved to Atlanta 35 yrs ago.
I worked closely with him until his retirement.He was a gentleman and a legend and I consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to know him.

Mark and family, I am sorry to hear about your father. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nancy, I was saddened to learn of Joe's death. I enjoyed Joe's help
over the many years of my architecture practice. Joe's help, when he was with U.S. Gypsum and later with Fred R. Hiller, was very helpful and his humor was very enjoyable.

It was sad to hear a legend has pasted. We still feel his presence and his accomplishments along with his laughter here at the Fred R. Hiller Co. He will be missed but never forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was late reading the AJC today, 20th, but Jim Davis called from St. Simons to tell me of Joe's passing. I am so sorry.

I hope your draw strength and comfort from the fact that Joe was so well liked and respected. He taught me so much about the business and life. Knowing him, and you, was a Blessing and I am a better person for knowing Joe.
