Not sure what to say?

Rest In Peace Uncle Joe from your niece. Most of my memories of you were at Holiday dinners with Mom and Nana and church friends at home. We always celebrated special occasions while eating out at favorite restaurants. We all knew how much you loved those Aggies!

Joe Hartwell is a Legacy. In the words of George Jones "Who's gonna fill his shoes"? If it were not for Joe Hartwell and Ron Culp I would not be where I am at with BGE. Joe - I am extremely grateful. Rest in peace my friend.

Rest in peace Joe old friend.

To one of the most gentle men I will ever know. I was honored to call you my father in law and lucky to have you as grandpa to Rian and Branden. Our hearts are sad but we rejoice you are now with Big Lee cheering on your beloved Aggies together once again❤ We love and miss you .

God needed another Angel, may all the family feel peace in comfort in this heavenly birthday. Greatest sympathy and prayers.

I have worked with Joe for 20 years at Hartwell Environmental Corp. Joe always had a smile on his face. Joe even in his 70's would run down the hallway to answer a phone call. I remember being in the Valley with Joe and one of our manufacture. Joe rented a car and drove us around. That evening i had to have several drinks to calm my nerves after riding with Joe. Joe was a BIG Aggie. Joe and i would have fun going back and forth with the Aggies vs the Long Horns. Joe and I birthdays...

Always delighted to see Joe come walking up, smiling a gentle smile that made his eyes sparkle.

He embedded that philosophy into his business mission, and it remains there to this day.
A good man indeed...a man who leaves a legacy that placed friendship and honor as the...

I am saddened to learn of Joes passing, yet I rejoice in his ascending to Heaven as he moves onto the next phase of his existence. Joe was my friend since we first met in 1984. Over the years he assisted me during both my operator and engineer activities.

He always brought a smile with him, and we had enjoyable times kidding each other and laughing together. Joe took kidding about his driving with the good nature that is characteristic of a good man, which Joe was.
