Not sure what to say?

I was a classmate of Joe at NMMI where we were 1st year cadets. And later at university of Arizona. Joe was a great football player but even more a very humble and nice man. I will miss him. Condolences to the family Rod Cleveland

I live in Edmonton Alberta where Joe was a cherished member of our Edmonton Eskimo football team. Fondly remembered. Brian Yaschuk

I've used this page about you quite a few times now G-pops. Makes me cry damn near every time. Right now I'm introducing myself to my fellow classmates and was asked to write about myself. Because I am track athlete just like you were, I wrote about you and will provide this article for my fellow classmates. Miss you like crazy and am dedicating my track career here at West Point to you.

So sorry for your loss. I had very fond memories of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. May your wonderful Memories comfort you. !

Mary Ann, My heart goes out to you and your family. Joe was so much fun, dropping by Secrist, and lighting up the whole office. I remember a fun evening over at the Puckett's, playing Pictionary and Joe's antics cracking us all up. His memory lives on in us now, though, he is now looking over us, reminding us to enjoy life. I know it is painful now, so I extend loving arms around you ~ Jenna

Heaven is becoming the new "Rolling Hills". Many fond memories of the Hernandez family. May your strength during this time be found in your faith and in knowing that others are thinking of you all.

Our deepest condolences to the fine family that Joe and Mary Ann built. A fine man to be admired. Joe and Mary Ann took care of all us neighborhood kids in the late 60s and early 70s.

Mary Ann..its a long time since Joe was President of the Centurions but I sure have fond memories of him..as do many of the older members of the group.... best to you and family...Larry Stern

Dear Mary Ann, Please know we all know what you and the kids are going through and send our deepest sympathy. George and Joe are together now with Grandma and other siblings. Praying you all will know that peace that surpasses all understanding knowing that we will all be together again someday. Love, Sherrill
