Not sure what to say?

So here I am, in 2021, adding a post to Joe Hock's Memorial Guest Book. I have no idea if this will be read or reach all those that were influenced greatly by this Child of God.
Every time I met or spoke with Joe since meeting him in 1987, he always started with:
"I love you!"
"God Loves You!"
"You are Okay!"
These three short statements have such a deeper meaning collectively. The order is important. Joe showed my soul the importance of loving first... just as...

Dear Poppy,Pam,Jayna, and Judy. I was so sorry for your loss and sorry I was not in town to attend Joe's funeral. Joe and the people of St. Mark's when he was pastor there helped guide my brothers, Craig & Kent, and I through those turbulent adolescent years and set us on the path to become mature Christians. My grandson Ethan met Joe last year at Touchmark and I told Ethan if he saw Joe again to thank him for marrying George and I in 1970, or he would not be here. I also told him to be...

I knew Joe all through college and seminary,we shared lots of laughs and good times..appreciate his faith and his ministry to persons in the spirit of Jesus--marvin northcutt

Dear Elrose: So sorry I couldn't come to the memorial service today. My Royce had a medical procedure at 2:00. I am so glad I wrote that story about Joe and his brothers in the Sooner Spirit! He loved it so. Am thinking of you this evening. I was sorry to hear about Norman also. Was glad you brought her to the Central Reunion. Much love, Joann Skinner Winters.

Dear Poppy and family,
We knew Joe from Spencer UMC and always admired his intellect and his compassion. We are sorry for your loss.

Jayna, so very sorry about your dad....my mom and day loved your folks dearly and are saddened by the loss and having missed the memorial today. Much love, thoughts and prayers. Nancy Wheeler Pinkerton

I sought counseling from Joe in the early '80's. An Aunt and a Sister also saw him. He was a sweet soul. Have thought of him many times over the years.

Poppy and Family...Im so sorry for your lose, my prayers and thoughts will be with you.

I am so blessed that God caused our paths to cross. There was one day in particular that I believe Joe was my angel. He helped lead me thru a rough patch and I've never forgotten the fact that he dropped everything he had on his calendar that day to be there for me. See you on the otherside my brother.
