Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of meeting Dan through my daughter Jennifer Harkins. Dan was a very good friend to Jennifer and I know she will miss him. He was a very kind person and no more than I knew him, I knew he brought happiness to all around him. He will be missed.

Mary, I have never met you but I feel like I know you. I have heard lots of great stories about You (Dan's Redheaded Devil)!!! He always called me (Curly Headed Devil)!! :) Everytime I wear my hair curly I think of him. I just found out about his passing. Jim Wreyford asked my mom to let me know and my heart stopped. Dan means so much to me! He was a wonderful Boss, Man and Friend! He was like a father figure to me. I have missed him since he left Marble Falls. It was so good to see him...

Sherri and I just learned of Dan's passing from a co-worker. Mary, please accept our most sincere condolences. It is hard to believe that it has been over two years since we saw you and Dan at our son's Eagle Award ceremony in Plantersville. We have such wonderful memories of the time that we had together with Dan; especially, during the Antek days in Marble Falls. The wonderful meals, conversation, and great fun together meant so much to our family. He was a truly unique individual who...

Mary, what lovely words of Dan and his life. I know that you will find comfort and love in wonderful memories of Dan. He will be missed. Our love, thoughts, and prayers to you and family.

Mary, it is with great sadness to hear of Dan's passing. He was a super person, always willing to help out anyone - I'm so lucky to have met him. I will never forget him.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I have many wonderful memories of Dan. He will truly be missed. God Bless

Mary, you and Dan have been in my thoughts throughout these past months, the obituray is a wonderful tribute to Dan. God bless.

I miss Dan. He really did have a unique sense of humor, and tackled his illness with directness, some humor, and reality. My favorite memory is burgers at Cahill's - which I promised him we would do soon in his celebration of his life!

Seeing Danny's obituary was a real jolt. I knew him years ago in Lake Jackson where we went to school together, and we both studied piano with the same teacher for a time. Although we lost touch, I remember him well. One memorable piano recital, we had a duet with Danny playing the melody and I playing back-up. Somehow we (probably I) screwed it up, I continued playing some sort of "oom-pah" bass, Danny fumbled around for the melody (never quite getting the right one), but we ended the...
