Mr. Joe Glenn Hoyle

Mr. Joe Glenn Hoyle, 80, of Morganton passed away Saturday June 13, 2015 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Mr. Hoyle was born June 26, 1934 in Burke County to the late Haywood Julius Hoyle and Iva Brittain Hoyle. He worked as a store owner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Scott Hoyle; sister, Prue Dudgon; and brother, Ralph Hoyle. Survivors include his wife Wanda Hildebran Hoyle of Morganton; children David Hoyle and wife Joanie of Morganton, Rick Hoyle and wife Vanessa of Hickory, and Connie Cline and special friend James Richards of Valdese; one foster child Christina Lacourse of Manchester NH; two brothers Wayne Hoyle and Clyde Hoyle; four sisters, Abby Shook, Mozelle Ward, Betty Walker, and Shirley Crotts; seven grandchildren, Kristie Pugh, Kimberly Cline, Clint Hoyle, Jamie Powell, Dannette Poplin, Brandie Dean, Kala Dean, and Karolynn Lacourse; six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service for Mr. Hoyle will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday June 16, 2015 at the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with the Rev. Harold Ward officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hildebran View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
