May GOD give comfort and peace to his family. Rest in peace, to a caring and patient man.

My deepest condolences to Joe´s family and dearest friends. I first met Joe as my choir director at Central Jr. High. Our community has lost a wonderful soul filled with so much love of music and the gift of teaching that which he loved. May Joe´s soul find eternal rest and his family be comforted in the difficult days ahead by the wonderful memories he leaves behind to cherish in their hearts.

Dear Lindsay, I just heard and though I did not know Joe well, your friendship over the years starting at the Day School is all I needed to remember to wish you my heartfelt thoughts. Fondly, Val

Thanks for teaching me how to be a great person and how to sing. I remember you told me you waited for me and a few others to graduate before retiring from teaching at West. Thanks for always being there for me. I´ll always think of you when I hear Scarborough Fair.

Joe was a loyal friend who helped to make my early career years in Brownsville good ones. He will be missed.

Deepest condolences. He was a kind and patient man who gave the teaching profession a good name.

You will be dearly missed. Thank you for inspiring me to pursue a degree in music education. You instilled in me the love of choral music. We are praying for the entire family.
