Not sure what to say?

Joe Kane will forever be a part of the writing community. He contributed so much. He is in our hearts and minds with every day that passes. Nancy has not only continued her own work through the loss, but has kept Joe's dream alive too. Sending love and thanks.

I am a great admirer of Joe Kane’s work being a fellow horror and sci fi enthusiast. He and his wife were kind enough to give me a subscription to their wonderful publication Videoscope. He also gave me a signed copy of his book “Night of the Living Dead”. It’s a great book about the making of one of my favorite horror movies. As Joe would say, “Long live the dead!”.

Condolences from a long time reader.

Best friend anyone could have. Funny, generous, entertaining, could go on and on. His work was his passion. RIP

To the Kane family:

On behalf of the Administration, Faculty and Staff of Queens College, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family.

May he Rest In Peace.

I just received word about Joe's death through Nancy's letter to the magazine's subscribers. My sincerest condolences. Joe will be missed by everyone who ever loved low-budget movies and B films in general. His love and respect for the movies was evident on every page of his magazine and his books. Rest In Peace, brother.

There was no person as kind and inclusive as Joe Kane. If we were all a little more like him this world would be a better place. Deeply missed but never forgotten - Joe Kane, a writing legend. Thank you, Joe.
