Joe W. Kent

I grew up next door to the Kent´s on Onslow. Wonderful family, neighbors and friends. Joe was a very kind man and I remember talking to him in the back yard.

I delivered Mobile Meals to Mr. Kent for several years. He was always dressed for the day and had the most wonderful personality. I am an NC State fan and he used to always tell me that one of his children went to NC State. I´ve missed seeing him for a while and I´m sorry to hear of his passing! He was definitely one of my most favorite deliveries!

Sending love to the family. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend who always greeted me with a smile. He was a great person all around and accomplished so much in his life. He had so much love for his family. It was an honor to have known him. Mr. Joe will be truly missed.

I remember Mr. Kent every tax season, volunteering at Senior Resources of Guilford, where I worked. He, along with other experts assisted the many seniors that came to our office for tax assistance. Always a kind and friendly gentleman, my deepest condolences to his family.
