Not sure what to say?

The September 9th entry was from Anjie Burnett-Sorensen, Lemon Grove, California.

Although Joe and I had been out of touch for many years, I am so sorry to hear about his accident. We were close friends in high school and college. His gifted brilliance, caring and humor were rare indeed. I was so jealous how he could write a AP English paper overnight and get an A+, when it took me weeks of preparation and study! Mrs. Kincaid (Eunice) and Family,
Joe and I want to send our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your son, Joe. I have shared the news on our Centennial Class of '74 Facebook page and many of your former students from Lynch Plaza/Harold Oliver send their thoughts and prayers to you. You will always be a special person in our lives and we are sorry for this deep and painful loss.

I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing.. although I did not personally know him, My mother, MaryLou Stroup goes to church with Eunice & Joe Sr, and she also wishes to send her condolences..

Uni, Joe and David, my thoughts are with you all right now. I remember Joe's swagger when he was in 8th and David and I were in 5th at Damascus Middle. He was always so "cool". I'm so sorry for your loss.

Sending my deepest condolences, Uni & Joe. You are in my thoughts & prayers.

My memories of your dear son are from the times our families got together when all four of our kids were little. How kind Joe was to those pesky younger ones! I know he continued to be that sort of person throughout his all too short life. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
