Not sure what to say?

I played varsity basketball at Collinwood High School under Joes coaching?. He always treated his players fairly and was still young enough to hold his own shooting baskets after practice

Dear JoAnn, Kathy, Jeanine, Mary Beth and families

This is Joe's cousin Natalka from Canada. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Dad and grandfather. Joe was so very special to me. I am so sad that I did not call him this year on his birthday December 30th - the one time in a long while that I missed. I will miss his "this Joey the bookie - leave a message". He is in my thoughts always, along with cousin Steve.
Sincerest...

I sure will miss Joe Lesko, or "Captain Nice" as he sometimes referred to himself. A delightful man. My condolences.

My deepest sympathy to you Mary Beth and the rest of your family. I always loved hearing the stories about your Dad and the rest of your special family during our days at Miami. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My condolences to his family and friends. Mr. Lesko was a great teacher and friend when I worked in his office we always talked about everything and anything he was a very cool guy .I will miss him and his talks . R. I. P. Dear friend.

So very sorry for your loss. Joe was a great neighbor (we lived next door) and spent numerous Halloweens hanging out in the front yard with him during trick-or-treat. Thoughts and prayers.

Collinwood Family...Joe was a great guy! He was one of my teachers (class of '61). I would see him at Manhattan Deli (at Pine Ridge Plaza) with some of his friends on Sat mornings. I would sing them the Railroaders anthem..."We are the Railroaders...mighty, mighty, Railroaders...etc." They would just laugh!
God Bless, Karen Siska

Dear Girls: How he loved his girls. It sounds so trite, but they broke the mold when it came to your Dad. A gentle giant who will be missed by many. You will each carry a part of this kind and thoughtful man. He is with your Mom who he so dearly loved.

My condolences to your family. I graduated from Collinwood in '67 and have fond memories of Mr. Lesko. He was a very nice man and treated everyone who wound up in his office fairly. I was just thinking about him a few weeks ago. I'm very sorry for your family's loss. He will live on in all our memories.
