I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Joe Long. He was a great bassist for the Four Seasons, and spent many years with them, partaking in many of their more rock-pop style songs. He was a proud son of Elizabeth NJ, and was honored with a street named after him. He was a kind man reaching out to fans all during his life. A lifelong friend that loved the Four Seasons said to me how he would call Joe Long on the phone every so often, and he would love to share stories of the Seasons...

Sadly, I just did a search on Joe Long to see what he was doing these days, and I read this very, very sad news. Tommy and Joe in the same year! Very sad. My condolences to those close to this exceptional musician and performer.

Hello from Nova Scotia,
I had the opportunity to meet Joe with the 4 Seasons in Boston in 1967. They made me their special guest at their night club show, after they found out I traveled from Canada to see their show. I saw 3 of their concerts that weekend .... Joe was a real pro on stage and he was so kind to me each time we crossed paths that weekend ... he was a class act. Paul Kennedy Halifax, Nova Scotia
