Sorry to hear This! A real loss! I have his CD with, "I'll Get To Heaven On My Own!" Great track, & it looks like he attained this!

Valuable! Years ago, KLON ~ FM Radio, Long Beach played, "City Of Angels." I love this track, purchased 2 or 3 copies of the CD, Which is very good as this is on a small label, & is now quite out of print! Other great tracks, incl., "I'll Get To Heaven On My Own!" {Looks like he did!} His, `Transition,' a real loss, and ! We're almost exactly the same age! Say, is that Mr. Charlie, `The Grim Reaper,' knockin' on MY Door? Watch Out! "Get Away From MY Door!"

Very saddened about Joe's passing. One of my very favorite musicians. A great talent and a gentleman.

I was with Joe and The Boss Talkers for several years as his drummer. I didn't know squat when that band took me in, and in five years Joe showed me the ropes and much of the world several times over. That band was one of the tightest units out there. I'll never forget him and what he left with me. My profound condolences to his family and friends. And to the Blues community, let us never forget Joe's artistry and legacy.
