Not sure what to say?

Joe,
Your Dad was one of the finest persons I have ever known. He was a major influence in my career with Detroit Diesel and treated me with the greatest respect. I was blessed to have known him for many years. He was a mentor a teacher and a great leader. I think of him often and he will be missed.

Joe I am so very sorry for the loss of your father. I am honored to have met such a wonderful man. Although life has recently taken me far from Texas, it was your father that provided me with the opportunity to follow my career dreams after college. I will never forget your father and what he has meant to my career, but surely I am one of hundreds if not thousands of people that were blessed by "Mr. Manning" and his strong extended family his grand legacy is secure within. God bless you...

Though we are distant in Florida and only recently learned of Mr. Manning's passing...we send our heart felt condolences to Mrs. Manning and the rest of the family. Our entire family has enjoyed the Manning Ranch with Jim and Molly and many relatives. We feel close at heart although distant in miles. May God give you all that peace that passes all understanding in celebrating the good times with a great man whom we all shall miss. Sincerely, the Provows (Grayton Beach, Florida)

May the peace that surpasses all understanding comfort you all in this difficult time. I am very honored to have met Mr. Manning, what an outstanding man! I will be praying for you all.

Joe and Norma it was a blessing to a lot of us at S&S to have a wonderful person like Joe Manning Sr. as part of our lives. Mr. Manning touched all of us in more ways then one and he will always remain in our hearts as we live on. Mr. Manning always acknowledge his co-workers and friends when ever he saw us. I will definitely miss his stories. Joe Jr. if there is anything you or your family needs please let us know.

Mrs. Manning, Joe, so sorry for your loss. We have lost a true gentleman with his passing. He always had a kind and encouraging word for everyone. If it was business or personal he was always positive with his remarks. I will cherish the short time I got to spend with him in Longview and at the ranch. He was and is an inspiration to me...Glenn & Heather Chatelain

Joe was a wonderful family man, an awesome business man, a great mentor and, above all, a true friend to many. Joe was a family friend and a good friend of my dad, Owen Metcalf for many years. While in the hospital after by-pass surgery, a few years ago, Joe came to the hospital and sat by my bedside most of the day. We reminisced about days gone by and things to come. He really made my day by spending that day with me. That is the kind of man, and friend, Joe was. He was loved and...

I am saddened to hear of the Tody's passing. I remember his warm smile and kindness from the many years of holidays and summers at the Joost Ranch. He always came by to hear the latest news and made us feel welcome at the Manning Ranch. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
