I met Joe years ago when I worked for Green Resource making deliveries to his company. I always enjoyed talking to him about some of his travels. I know you family members will carry on Joe´s. Good name. Plus, I am sorry for your loss.

I met Joe as a child and saw him at my kin peoples houses and events. He was always happy to talk to you no matter what was going on. I really enjoyed when he visited Forsyth Tech to talk to my horticulture class around '92, and singled me out to help him, calling me by name. The other students were taken aback that "I" knew this famous man... lol. And He was famous, for tractors, talking, landscaping, plant knowledge, cars, carpentry and a lot of other topics. Joe Marion loved Jesus first and foremost. Loved his family. Loved Landscaping and nursery work. Joe almost single handed changed the culture for high quality landscaping and plants in Forsyth and surrounding counties.
