Not sure what to say?

My wife Joyce and I, are deeply saddened at the loss of your Joe. We recently were looking through some softball photos of fifteen years past and came upon a picture of Joe that refreshed our memories vividly of the joy that Joe conveyed to others, not to mention his prowess on the field. One brief memory was the time he had loaned one of his gloves to my son who, in turn, had misplaced it. I was furious with my son but Joe took it in stride and told me not to worry. That was the kind of man...

Joe was one of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. Since we were fraternity brothers, it would not be appropriate to recant most/any of my memories of Joe, but I am happy to say that they are all good. My thoughts and prayers go to the family.
Phi Alpha.

Our hearts go out to Joe's family at this time of deep sadness. Hearing of Joe's death was quite a shock.

...one of my life's great joys was an end of the day phone call to or from Joe. We'd call one another during our commute home, catching up on old news, current events, and of course, who could make the other laugh harder...it was a great call when I'd circle the neighborhood an extra 15 minutes not wanting the call to end. The tales of fun, chaos, fame & adventure are too numerous to share here, but if you should ever see me with a blank stare and a grin on my face, please know I...

Our thoughts go out to the Marsh family at this tragic time. As a respected competitor, Joe seemed to always have a smile on his face. Although we have not seen each other in many years the memories fill my head like they happened yesterday.
you will be missed!

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
