We know Joe from the Fedex store in Coppell. He gave our daughters the store fish named Wildfire when company policy made them give him up. Our girls loved the regular stops to drop packages because they got to visit with "Joe and friends". He always stopped to talk to them, ask about their day at school, and check up on Wildfire. I only knew Joe for a short time but during my brief time with him, as my patient, he was an inspiration to me. He was a determined and courageous patient. I looked forward to visiting with him during my downtime and listening to him talk about his love for his family. Joe will always be in my heart, especially as I walk into his old room.
