I am a Men of A Chord (MoA) member who performed at Joe's memorial service today in San Juan's First United Methodist Church. I was extremely positively impressed by Joe's life of service shown by the "many hats" he wore displayed on the alter of the church. I am too new with MoA to have know Joe, but thanks to his daughter for arranging a life-inspiring tribute to her father. The Masonic eulogy service was especially impressive.

I first met Joe many years ago when I interviewed for the position of organist at the San Juan United Methodist Church. From that time on I always felt I had the unswerving support of Joe and his family for my musical endeavors. Even though his state of health has prevented Joe from attending services there in recent years, I have always considered him, and shall continue to do so, as an integral part of the church's music.
