Not sure what to say?

We have had the pleasure of knowing Joe for many years, because we found out that he made the best veals around. When we would come home to Jackson to visit family we always called ahead and placed our order. He was always such a pleasure to talk with, telling us his son lived up by us and how much he appreciated seeing us when we were in town. His goodness shined through as anyone could tell he was a wonderful man. We are so sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace Joe.

I really liked Joe, he was so nice and kind to my family, and I. I truly missed seeing him at his store, it just hasn't been the same without him. Great memories as a kid going in Joe's store, and him teasing me. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Sending loving thoughts to Joe's family

Mr. Newman was by far one of the kindest people. I enjoyed stopping into his store and buying penny candy and seeing his smile. My deepest condolences to his loved ones.

In loving memory of my wonderful brother. We will love you and miss you always.

We agree with all the posts honoring Joe. He was one great guy. Always willing to share memories and super nice about getting those Jackson Co. veals ready to travel to S.C. Wellston has lost a true gentleman and business man. Prayers for his family.

Joe was like another father to me growing up on West Broadway. He always put up with my frequent visits to Newman's and my squirreling around the store. What a wonderful man and person. He was an influential part of my growing up years. Always good with a smile and a joke...!!!
