Danny, Roxanne and family. Sorry for loss of your father. May God comfort all of the family. Rose Mary Medrano

Danny & Roxanne, we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We didn't know him, but, "Mayo" raised a fine son, husband and Dad in Danny. May his memory be eternal in his heirs & may Our Lady of Guadalupe hold you, his children, closer than usual during this sad time. Love, cousins Livvy (Gonzales, hija de Pila) & Michael Parker, Champaign IL

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ortiz family. Your extended generations are so involved with Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and school.

Our heartfelt sympathies to your Family on the loss of Mayo. May your many memories of Mayo bring you comfort during this very difficult time in your lives. Spending our earlier lives in Topeka, we certainly have vivid memories of Mayo as being a kindly & sociable person.
A Mass in honor of Mayo Ortiz will be celebrated at Cordi-Marian Chapel in San Antonio, Texas.

My condolences to all the Ortiz family. I knew Joe Mayo when I was young. He was a friend of my mom and did some jobs for her from time to time. I also knew Joe as a fellow parishioner and a fellow state employee.
We worked at the Docking State Office Building for many years. He was a good man with a good sense of humor. Always cracking jokes. He will be missed. Rest in peace Joe.

To the Ortiz family-
I am so sorry for your loss. I know what a special person Joe was not only to all of you, but to so many more. I remember the years of burrito making for the State Street kids and how he was always there to run errands and help out. I also remember "burrito time" always fell on his wedding anniversary.
Remember all the special memories and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. You are a very special family.
