We miss the colorful personality whose talents as a baseball player were immense. I can still see the early 60's baseball cards with my boyhood idol featured proudly. RIP, Joe Pep,

Growing up in Paterson, NJ, I was a huge Yankees fan and Joe Pepitone was one of my favorites. I remember seeing (and hearing) him at Yankees games - what a thrill! I'll keep the Pepitone family in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Joe; you will be missed.

To me, Joe Pepitone was baseball. My father left the box scores out on the kitchen table when he left for work so I was sure to note the Pepitone homer or multi hit performance. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to the Pepitone Family. He was a great competitor, and larger than life baseball player. I was a young boy in Chicago whose family were avid Yankee fans during the 1960´s. We always went to Comiskey Park when the Yankees were in town. Still have a photo of Joe from 1964 with the other Yankees boarding their bus after the White Sox game. Joe, you are up there with the other Yankee Greats! Rest in Peace! Mike Abbatemarco Family Tinley Park,IL.
