Not sure what to say?

So very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. My father Speedy is the one who had the shop before Joe.As it turns out, my Dad was one of Joe's last haircuts. I loved to bring him into the old shop that I grew up in. Godbless you all.

I also found out yesterday that Joe had passed. I am truly sorry. Joe has been a friend of mine since 1976 and has been cutting my hair the same amount of time. he was a good man and will be truly missed by all. My heart goes out to the family.

I just found out about Joe yesterday. I am so sad I didn't get a chance to see him again. Joe's been cutting my hair for over 20 years now. He was a great man, definitely old school. I remember many nights being his last customer of the day and talking with Joe well past his closing time. Joe cared so much about all his customers. I will miss him greatly. My prayers are with his family that he cared so much for.

Sorry for your loss, we all lost a friend... I went and got my haircut last Thursday and took one grandson in on Friday... twice last week and now so glad I did. I've been going to Joe for a haircut since the late 1970's, well over 30 years and will miss dropping by there not only for the great haircut; but, more so to talk with him about whatever and visit with him and whoever was there at the time.

Never thought I would see this day happen until I walked into Berryhill today. I quickly felt honored when I saw my photo with Joe taken in 1969 while he gave me my first haircut. December 2011 marked 42 years that he had been cutting my hair. Joe's Barber Shop was not only the place to go for a great haircut but to hang out & chat about college football, politics or life. Many days I would just go by to talk. Joe was more than a barber he was a family friend from camping days when Joey &...

There is no doubt that Joe will be missed by myself and my son as well as hundreds of others. The man knew everyone and it was a relief to walk in and just talk to him instead of having to strike up a casual conversation like other businesses. He always had something to talk about, great advice and I dont think I could get a haircut without actually learning something from him or about him. Even if I had not been in for awhile, he still remembered me, asked about my family, and we sat around...

Joey and girls, I am so sorry for your loss. I know Big Dad will be missed in the worse way. He was a very special man. There will never be another like him. Always smiling and joking. Let God guide your heart during your time of sorrow. With Big dad it was always love in the heart. He was really a big softy. If there is anything that I can do, please let me know. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys. Love to you all.
