We were saddened to hear of Dr. Rhoades passing. We have such wonderful memories of a doctor and wonderful friend to us and our children. He will always have a very special place in our hearts. We will be honored to answer for him at Aggie Muster this year.

Looks like my sister and cousin beat me to leaving a message in memory of our favorite Dr.Rhoades and to his family. He was always my doctor since 1959 until he retired. Like my cousin MarkLong said, he was so great and special to all our families especially to Mom "Totsy" and my "AuntJim" Laura Long. What a friend you have been to me and to so many others that came to you as a doctor and found a friend that lasted a lifetime.

I worked for "Doc" for 6 years and learned more from him that I could ever have learned from any professor anywhere. I learned how he loved people and gave so much of himself to his patients. We talked for hours and when I spent time at the ranch fishing, he always wanted to know if I "caught any" and made sure I had a good time and saw the...

I was saddened to read about Dr. Rhoades passing. I was a patient of his off and on, for just a few years in, (I believe), the early nineties. I was always impressed by the fact that he didn't feel the need to move into one of the huge fancy medical buildings we have to visit our doctors in so often these days.
