Tia Linda, Monica, Debbie & Joe:

My prayers are with you at this difficult time. I hope that God's light & unconditional love provide consolation & healing to your hearts & minds. Please know that your devotion to Tio Joe is a blessing not to just to him, but to all of us that knew him. You are a good example to all of us, demonstrating how a close & loving family should be. May you have lots & lots of support from the community of your family, friends & loved ones. May God bless...

Erlinda: I was saddened to read about Joe"s passing in the paper. Although I only met him a couple of times, he was such a nice person. I know we have not been in contact for some years, however working in the bank tends to keep people "together", even when they don't have much contact. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family.

My prayers go out the the entire Rivas family, immediate and extended. Joe was my Baptismal godfather. Yet, with life's obstacles I was not in touch with him as much as I would have liked to, Yet, Joe found time to attend my wedding, a touching memory that has been with me since. An outstanding individual has left us and yet he lives on in our hearts. May you find comfort in knowing that Joe was loved by many and will be missed.

ERLINDA, AND FAMILY. SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE PASSING OF JOE. A GREAT AND BEAUTIFUL GENTLEMAN. RESPECTFULLY BOBBY MADRID

I looked up to him as a father figure and really missed him when he retired. I was always so happy to see him when he came to visit us when he was home from the hospital. I enjoyed our talks when he would call from the hospital to let...
