Truly a great animator, producer and programmer- Joe Ruby ranks right up there with Lou Scheimer, Norm Prescott, Hal Sutherland, Friz Freleng, Arthur Rankin Jr., William Hanna, Joseph Barbera, Chuck Jones, Lee Gunther, etc. The animators I've listed have been a major part of my childhood, growing up. I remember watching the very last Saturday morning program that Ruby-Spears produced for ABC, namely the 2nd season of the Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, taking over for Gunther-Wahl. This...
