Joe R. Sanchez

I MET JOE, MANY YEARS AGO, HE WAS AMAZING AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE
WAS ONE IN A MILLION IN SO MANY WAYS. MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY.

Joe was my 1st employer at his insurance agency Sanchez Insurance, Inc. on Tampa Bay Blvd. in his beloved West Tampa. His agency served the community for more than 30 years and his customer truelly loved and respected him. His heart was as big if not bigger than that smile on his face that would alway greet you with open arms. He will be truly missed and forever remembered in my heart. Thank you for every thing and I Love Joe.

From your extended Sánchez family in Cuba: Zeida, Angélica, Federico and myself, here in Florida, I wish to convey our heartfelt condolences to Joe Jr's immediate family.
May he rest in peace and may all those who loved him find comfort in his exceptional example as a compassionate, remarkable man.

I remember visting with Joe Jr. and the rest of the family when I was very little and going with my Abuela to visit, but even I wasn't aware of his many accomplishments until I read about them in the obituary. What an incredible, multi-faceted man he was and an inspiration to all of us to try an accomplish just a fraction of what he was able to. We'll all miss him and our prayers and deepest sympathy are with all of our family in Tampa.

Please accept my deepest condolences for the passing of Joe Jr., who I met as a child and always remember as a corageous, determined and loving person. Although physically confined to a disability, went well beyond what so many other abled people achieve in their lifetime.

I believe his life was a gift of love, masterfully crafted by himself, and the fruits of professional and personal achievements will remain with all of those who were touched by him.

My mother Elsa Sanchez, was Joe's first cousin, although their lives ran different courses she always talked about Joe's extraordinary resilience, and as a psychologist this story has followed me, in my heart, whenever I face hurdles and obstacles I rememember my second cousin Joe,which I had the pleasure to meet during Ronnie's wedding, we hope to see in eternity, much love, Elsa Beatriz, Andres, Cristina, Amilcar, Angelica & Mariana.

Every time I visited his house in Tampa he always welcomed all of us in our family with a smile and was very warmhearted. Since I was a kid, my parents talk to me of what a great example he was for us the new generations in the Sanchez family. His courage and love for life was unique. My deepest sympathy to all of my relatives Rolando, Mary Ann, Ronnie, Lucette, Marcela, Jason and all of my cousins. Cariños.

Joe was a great man. I had a great deal of respect and admiration for him. I guess I always will.

Joe, you were an inspiration to us all and you will be missed. I kept putting off going to Tampa until "tomorrow" and now it will never be the same. Yours was always the first house we stopped at and the last one we left. I know you are now where no one is crippled or hurting and I am happy for you.
